and contributions to the Workshop>>
This workshop aims at leading
participants into implant practice during the course within
6 months.
Put
theories into practice
It is designed to put theories into clinical practice. Participants
will begin to experience a brand new challenge in the discipline
of Oral Implantology.
Observe,
assist, practice and perform
Personal hand-held supervision in the surgeries so that participants
will gain maximum clinical confidence in different clinical
scenario.
Performing surgeries and all other procedures both with live
patients.
Performing simulated surgeries with artificial alveolar ridges
prior to clinical cases.
Participants shall be invited to assist or observe in live
surgeries and other clinical procedures.
Familiarization
before investing
No initial investment in expansive surgical units, surgical
kits and GBR material is needed because all of these shall
be provided during the course. Participants will familiarize
with the system and equipment before they decide to buy. They
do not need to keep stock for anything more than what they
will use in their next case.
Group
learning is most effective and fun
Small size study club environment for participants to share
their experience in different cases. Discussions among themselves
for Patient Selections, Diagnosis, Treatment Planning, Surgical
Procedures, Choices in Prosthesis and problems encounter in
each stage enhance learning experience.
Trained
to become an Implant Practitioner rather than course attendee
Participants are expected to complete at least 1 or more implant
cases within 6 months. They shall be trained to become confident
to further their successful lifetime practice in Oral Implantology.
They shall be interested in further training in advanced procedures
for further advancement in their challenging career.
Scientific
lectures for a comprehensive knowledge in Oral Implantology
Participants attend a comprehensive scientific lecture and
presentation series every other week for 6 months. Relevant
literature and reading material will be introduced for in-depth
knowledge of various topics.
Credentials
of training
Membership and Fellowship of Internationally recognized College
of Implantology would be introduced upon completing of training
course in Entrance and Advanced level respectively.
